Brian Spoelhof, PharmD, BCCCP, BCPS is the Manager of Medication Utilization Strategy at University of Virginia Health (UVA). His team is responsible for overseeing the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, drug shortages, and medication use at UVA. He earned his PharmD at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He has practiced as a clinical pharmacist in neurocritical care, neurology and stroke, antimicrobial stewardship, and internal medicine as well as holding leadership positions in clinical management.
